Vanilla sweetness combined with a saltiness that finally gives way to peppery notes and spices such as cloves and hints of dark chocolate. Nice long and complex finish.
A limited release of 251 bottles worldwide with the label designed by a Japanese artist Kenro Shinchi. This 2026 Single Malt limited edition is crafted from a generous selection of key malts, featuring whisky aged in bourbon barrels and finished in apple brandy casks, alongside spirit matured in re-charred ex-shochu casks and finished in white wine casks.
Additional layers of complexity are introduced through sherry casks and a subtle hint of peated whisky, all refined through a slow dilution process to achieve a mellow, rounded depth.
The whisky opens with gentle floral aromas. On the palate, it reveals a soft sweetness reminiscent of yuzu bean paste, followed by a long, soothing finish with lingering notes of grapefruit and a touch of sea breeze.

The 100% Islay 13th Edition was distilled from 2012, 2013 and 2014 barley harvests before being matured for 44 bourbon barrels for a minimum of 8 years. This unique Single Farm Single Malt is the only whisky in Scotland to be produced entirely on one farm, from barley to bottle. The barley was then malted onsite and peated using local Islay peat before being distilled, matured and eventually bottled all within the farm distillery’s premises. Limited to 13,000 bottles. This is a 2023 Edition of their PEATED Single Malt Whisky which has been largely matured in Bourbon barrels. While most of the Asaka Distillery produces Non-Peated Single Malt, they occasionally release a Peated bottling from time to time as well in limited quantities. Released in Dec 2023, there were only 600 bottles.
Malt cookies, lime-like citrus, mild peat. Palate: Smoke, tidal stimulation, alazan, plum. Finish: Peat lingers until the end, with a well-balanced acidity and sweetness in the middle.

This is a special bottling released by the Chichibu Distillery and is a vatting of malt from two distilleries, "Chichibu" and "Komagatake", which has been matured at the Chichibu Distillery in a variety of Bourbon Barrel, American White Oak and Sherry Oak for more than 5 years. In 2015, Venture Whisky (Chichibu) Distillery and Mars Shinshu Distillery began exchanging their new make spirit, which was subsequently matured in their respective locations. 10,200 bottles were released.
Nose: Caramel sweetness, some dusty book shelves and a medley of tropical fruits Palate: Sweet toffee along with tropical fruits including banana and pineapple Finish: Ends with a salty finish and hints of tropical fruits.
