Distilled on 1st September and 19th November 1953, this was Bottled on 11th August 2006 after being matured in First Fill and Refill sherry casks #2600 & #3597. Nose: Displays aromas of ripe oranges, polished hardwood floors and old leather. Some heathery notes develop along with a touch of menthol and vanilla. Palate: Very fruity, juicy ripe oranges along with dark chocolate, toasted malt and a developing edge. Finish: Smooth and long finish with a menthol note remaining.
