A 2003 Vintage Single Cask #5949 special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 13 years in an Oloroso Sherry Puncheon Cask for the Taiwan market and bottled at an impressive 56.2% ABV.
Nose: golden apples, raisins and rich fig syrup with hints of roasted coffee beans. Appearance: Autumn gold. Palate: A gentle sweet sherried character progresses to caramelised apricots warmed by cracked black pepper. (Producer's Tasting notes).
