Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2015, this whisky from the Glendullan distillery was matured for 18 years in 2 bourbon hogsheads and 456 bottles were released at an ABV of 55.6% by Cadenheads the Independent Bottler (related to the Springbank Distillery). Nose: Minty with lots of toffee. Very floral and grassy. Palate: Creamy. Shortbread and lemon meringue pie with cream. Finish: Initially short and creamy finishing in apple notes.
Glendullan, owned by Diageo is also bottled under the Singleton brand for the US market.
