Color: Light beech darkening nicely with age. Nose: Peaty aroma, nice soft cooked fruits, Christmas cake. Palate: Cloves, butterscotch, soft citrus, mouth-filling and with a lasting sweetness. Blandy’s 10 Year Bual Madeira is crafted using traditional methods and aged across multiple lodges in Madeira. Made mainly from Bual grapes grown on the island’s south coast, the wine undergoes controlled fermentation and is fortified to retain its natural sweetness. It is aged for an average of 10 years in seasoned oak casks using the classic Canteiro system.

It shows a bright golden-brown colour with aromas of dried figs, plums, almonds, caramel, vanilla, and sweet spices. The palate is medium-sweet, smooth, and well-balanced, with notes of fruitcake, liqueur, and candied fruit, leading to a long finish of honey and ginger biscuits.
