This double oaked Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from Woodford Reserve delivers a rich, soft and sweet vanilla and caramel notes balanced with some oak. Matured in charred oak barrels first like the classic Woodford Reserve, this is then finished in a second oak barrel  (new heavily toasted, lightly charred barrel). An awarded Bourbon. Color: Deep Amber Nose: Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak. Palate: A full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices. This Kumquat Umeshu Shochu liqueur is a collaboration between Seikoba Kajuen (from Minami Satsuma City), which is a long-established orchard that grows citrus fruits for over three generations (100 years), and Higashi Shuzo, an Shochu distillery in Kagoshima with an equally long history. 

Made with Kumquat "Ougon Maru", which has been ripened and made into a mash, then soaked in Umeshu (which was originally made from Kome Shochu and Kishu Nanko Ume), this is an extremely refreshing drink with a fresh citrus aroma with almonds, a great balance of sweet and sour flavours reflecting the combination of Kumquat and Umeshu. Recommend to drink on the Rock or with Sparkling Water.

This Kentucky straight bourbon whisky from Old Forester delivers rich, full bodied and smooth character. Old forester is a family owned distillery, founded by George Garvin Brown in 1870, continuously distilled and marketed by the founding family before, during and after Prohibition. Nose: Sharp and sweet, with a strong floral character that swirls with hints of mint, rich tobacco leaf and vanilla. Palate: A touch of oak and pine provides a strong underpinning. Sharp at first, but softens quickly, with hints of oak, sweet corn and rye grain character. Spicy, with soft vanilla and light orange notes Finish: Long, warm and slightly drying. Chibidaru casks are the smaller casks similar to quarter casks and hence allow for greater contact with wood (i.e. higher wood to liquid ratio and hence a faster and flavourful maturation). This Islay single malt from Port Ellen distillery is an independent bottle from The McGibbon's Provenance Range, distilled in Winter of 1982, matured in a Sherry Cask and bottled in Summer of 2005. This is a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength, exclusive to John Milroy. Light golden color with an elegant long lingering aroma of peat and smoke. Fills the palate  with an exquisite coating of tarry seaweed infused with sublime smokey peat and a long nutty fruit finish. Enhanced by the addition of a little water.

Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become a highly collectible whisky and one with a great fan following.

"A marriage of the sea and fruitiness on the nose, enjoy its saline and marine quality alongside the nuances of its Sherry Cask heritage. On the palate, an initially dry fore-taste runs to pepperiness, softened by the characteristics of the cask. The finish is long, warming, smokey plus the archetypal old leather from Port Ellen which runs on and on, tinged late by sea-weed and iodine.
