First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the double distilled, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery. This Longrow 21 years is a limited edition, reportedly matured in 60% of sherry cask and 40% of bourbon cask, bottled in 2019 with 3600 bottles released.

A special 1989 Vintage Springbank Whisky matured for 12 years in hogsheads and traditional barrels, finished in rum wood and bottled in April 2002. A part of the wood expression series from this Campbeltown Distillery, only 5,700 bottles were released. Green apples, pears, fresh cut grass with a sweet and salty long finish. Hints of black pepper and cinnamon.

Vintage releases have since been discontinued by the Distillery. Nose: Subtle fruity mix of smoke and wood, a bit of peat, sea salt and seaweed Palate: Sweetness, honey and vanilla, along with some peppery notes and hint of peat Finish: Lingering peat and smoke.

A Private bottling of Springbank for HMS Campbeltown. HMS Campbeltown was a Town-class destroyer of the Royal Navy during the Second World War. She was originally US destroyer USS Buchanan, and, like many other obsolescent U.S. Navy destroyers, she was transferred to the Royal Navy in 1940 as part of the Destroyers for Bases Agreement.
