First produced by James Logan Mackie in 1861 and taking its name from a famous Edinburgh inn, White Horse is a historic brand with Lagavulin one of its key components. This bottle has been bottled exclusively for Japan Jardine Matheson & co., (Japan) Ltd. We estimate this to be a bottling from the late 1970s.
Given the date of the bottling, we expect a major component of this whisky to be Lagavulin.
The label shows wear and tear. Sold in "As Is" Condition.

Released in 2012, this Black Bull 40 Year Old is a blend of select Single Malt and Single Grain whiskies from the renowned Duncan Taylor & Co. vintage cask range. This expression is bottled at natural strength, preserving the character it has developed during its 40-plus years in the cask. The blend consists of approximately 90% malt whiskies and 10% grain, matured in a ratio of about 80% ex-Bourbon casks and 20% ex-Sherry casks.
As the flagship of the Black Bull range, this superior blend includes whiskies from premium Scottish distilleries such as Glenlivet, Bunnahabhain, Tamdhu, Glen Grant, Invergordon, and Port Dundas.
