Distilled on 1st September and 19th November 1953, this was Bottled on 11th August 2006 after being matured in First Fill and Refill sherry casks #2600 & #3597.

Nose: Displays aromas of ripe oranges, polished hardwood floors and old leather. Some heathery notes develop along with a touch of menthol and vanilla. Palate: Very fruity, juicy ripe oranges along with dark chocolate, toasted malt and a developing edge. Finish: Smooth and long finish with a menthol note remaining.

Nose: Full of Corinth raisins, prunes, marmalade, chocolate, a sweet summer fruit with old leather. Palate: Peppery initially with tropical fruit and menthol flavour. Finish: Long with a touch of smoke.

Deep golden in colour. Nose: Rich aromatic character, fruity and hints of spice, treacle and syrup aromas. Palate: Reveals leafy, grass notes along with hints of oak. Finish: luxurious rich spicy flavours.

Nose: Rich sherry influences with mulled fruits and subtle oak aromas. Palate: sweet with hints of stewed apple and pear. Finish: Long with a lingering edge of coffee notes. A rare and vintage bottling which is difficult to find.

A rare vintage bottling from 1959 aged for an incredible 63 years in first-fill sherry cask #3665 that is increasingly difficult to find, with highly regarded scores of 92+ on Whiskybase and 93/5 Stars on WhiskyFun.

The third release in Gordon & MacPhail’s historic rare whisky series pays tribute to George Urquhart, second-generation member of the family behind Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled on 15 October 1959 and matured for 63 years in first-fill sherry cask #3665, it was bottled on 2 November 2022 at natural cask strength, 56.5% ABV, with only 368 bottles released.

Mr George, regarded as the “father of single malt” by renowned whisky writer Charlie MacLean began working with the business in 1933 and later created the iconic Connoisseurs Choice in 1968 to shine the spotlight on single malt whiskies that mostly ended up in blend, including his personal favourite, Glen Grant.

This 12 years release is a vatting of whiskies matured in a variety of casks including PX, Oloroso, Virgin Oak and bottled at natural colour, non chill filtered at a strength of 46%. 

Nose: Layers of orange zest, heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins, with notes of mocha lingering in the background. Taste: Bursts of orange zest, heather honey and damsons, followed by lashings of mocha, dark chocolate, cinnamon, figs and dates. One of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, G&M derived its name from its two founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail and was originally established on 25 May 1895 as a grocery. The "Distillery Labels" are a series of bottlings that carry a distillery specific designed label licensed to G&M by the distillery itself.

Selected by Film Director, Matthew Vaughn, to celebrate the release of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’. 1991, the birth year of Kingsman agent Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin is also the vintage of the whisky selected for this bottling by Whisky Maker Rachel Barrie and matured in the finest sherry casks. Only 2137 bottles were released.  Color: Deep walnut brown. Nose: black grapes with antique leather, leaf tobacco. Palate: Ripe plums, citrus orange, old Jamaican ginger with ground coffee, dark chocolate and walnut raisin cake. A very special whisky indeed. Rated 90+ on Whiskybase over 100 Votes.

With dark fruits, old sherry wine, sugared plum, rich leather on the nose, this whisky is full of figs and sultana pudding, velvet dark chocolate on the palate with a hint of mellow cedar cigar boxes (Producer's Tasting Notes).

Nose: Plum and blackberry liqueur with chocolate and hazelnut praline, and the warmth of freshly baked gingerbread. Appearance: Dark mahogany. Palate: Spiced fruitcake with treacle and angelica crescendos to demerara sugar, star anise and lingering espresso cream. (Producer's Tasting Notes). Limited to 692 bottles.
