Matured for 15 years in Spanish Sherry Oak Casks (Butts) at the legendary No.1 Vaults (the oldest maturation Warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level) of Bowmore, Laimrig is Gaelic for "Pier". This bottling was released in 2014.

A non-chill filtered Balvenie which was matured in traditional oak whisky casks (i.e. ex-Bourbon American Oak) and further finished in Golden Caribbean Rum cask. Bottled at 47.5%, this is a beautiful combination of fruit and spice. Chocolate, orange and vanilla build into a dry oaky finish. (Tasting Notes from Producer). This was launched in 2010 as a travel retail exclusive.

Whisky writer Michael Jackson had commented about these old Highland Park 12 year olds as 'The greatest all-rounder in the world of malt whisky'. This has been bottled at 43%.
