The first release in the "Art of Glengoyne" series carries a watercolor painting of the distillery with the snow capped peak of Dumgoyne hill by the Edinburgh based artist David Brogan. Like all Glengoyne malts, this 10 year old is distilled from air-dried barley without any peat smoke. With a natural bright gold color and a smooth warming palate, this will remind you of green apples, oak and toffee with a hint of almonds and liquorice. A sweet malty finish. With a burnished copper hue and aroma of honey, spices, hazelnut and raisins, the palate is rich in creamy malt, toasted oak, chocolates and honeycomb with a lingering finish of nutmeg and crystallized ginger. A limited release of about 3500 bottles in 2019.
