First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the double distilled, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery. Longrow 1994 vintage is reportedly matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Vintage releases have since been discontinued by the Distillery. 

Nose: Subtle fruity mix of smoke and wood, a bit of peat, sea salt and seaweed Palate: Sweetness, honey and vanilla, along with some peppery notes and hint of peat Finish: Lingering peat and smoke.

Matured for 8 years in refill bourbon barrels and an additional 2 years in fresh Tokaji (Hungarian Sweet Wine) casks this 1995 vintage Longrow is part of the wood expressions released by the Distillery in 2005 with an outturn of 7440 bottles. Nose: Sweet mix of raisins, plums and caramel, a bit of peat and light smoke with tobacco Palate: Dry and full bodied with a creamy touch, full of the berries and raisins with some herbs and peat Finish: A long finish of berry jam and toffee apple with hints of spicy smoke at the end.

Please note that the condition of the box/packaging (there is a wear and tear given that the bottle was released in 2005). However, bottle and the seal is in good condition. Sold in "As Is" condition.

Craigellachie, one of the few remaining distilleries to use worm tub condensers produces a spirit with the usual meaty, heavier flavours. This 17 Year Old expression matured in is the first release of 2014 (Batch 98-ZC21) and has since become a part of the regular releases. Nose: Pear, apples with a creamy and buttery note, oak spices, a hint of smoke Palate: a strong start with a spicy, aromatic sweetness with tropical fruits and a creamy texture Finish: Smoky with a hint of pepper.

Laphroaig Cairdeas Feis Ile 2017 is matured in a Quarter Cask and bottled at Cask Strength. A Quarter Cask as the name implies is a smaller (quarter of the original Barrel) cask which results in increased contact bewteen whisky and wood and an active maturation and intense flavours. Nose:  A characteristic Laphroaig with minerals, peat smoke and oak spices balanced with subtle fruits Palate: Peat smoke with spices again with peppery notes and salty notes intertwines with malty sweetness Finish: a strong finish with hints of salty notes, green fruits and lingering sweetness.

This is the 2021 release of the popular Hazelburn 10 Years Old from Springbank. The first release in 2014 got 90 points in Whiskyfun.

Using Springbank's triple distilled unpeated spirit and matured in Bourbon cask for 10 years. Nose: minerals, pear, fresh honey and vanilla. Palate: Oily, citrus fruit and a fresh mouth feel Finish: Oily and chewy in medium length.

This whisky is a 2021 release single malt whisky from Mitchell’s Glengyle distillery, this is a lightly peated malt which has been aged in a combination of bourbon casks (about 70%) and sherry casks (about 30%). Re-opened in 2004 after being closed for almost 80 years, the Glengyle distillery finally came back to the Mitchell family (owners of Springbank) in 2000. 

Nose: oak notes are dominant, followed by toasted marshmallows and dried fruit pudding, as well as cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat Palate: initially fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, after this: vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits can all be tasted and enjoyed Finish: velvet and smooth with lemon meringue, to conclude, there’s an oiliness and a saltiness that you’d expect from a Campbeltown dram (Tasting Notes from the Distillery).

Only 300 bottles were made available in Japan followed by an undisclosed number for worldwide markets. Nose: Cacao, Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate. Palate: Soft sweetness interlaced with a hint of drak chocolate bitterness. Finish: smooth and again some dark chocolate notes.

This Whisky is a 2016 release and a Taiwan Excusive Bottling (for "Hot Malt") with only 1600 bottles being released. Berry Bros & Rudd has reportedly blended a Speyside 40 Years Old Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky and Grain Whisky for this bottling. 

Berry Brothers & Rudd originally established as a fine wine merchant in the late 17th century received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. Since then BBR has been bottling single malt whisky and even bottled their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, as early as in 1923.

Valdespino Fino Inocente Single Vineyard Sherry is a traditional, dry Fino sherry made exclusively from Palomino grapes grown in the high-altitude Macharnudo Alto vineyard in Jerez, Spain. It is unique as it is the only Fino fermented in 600-liter American oak barrels using indigenous yeasts, a rare practice that adds complexity and richness to the wine. The solera system used for aging involves ten criaderas (stages), with the average age of the wine being around ten years under a protective veil of flor yeast.

The wine is pale golden in color with a complex aroma profile featuring notes of almonds, yeasty brioche, dried hay, salted olives, chalk, and hints of vanilla. The palate is elegant, full-bodied yet delicate, with mineral, zesty citrus, apple, grapefruit, and herbal flavors balanced by a fine chalky texture and a salty, slightly bitter finish. This Fino combines freshness and richness well, presenting a refined and long-lasting finish.

It is best served chilled (8-9°C) and pairs excellently with salted almonds, white fish, light meats, and tapas. This sherry has received high praise and awards, recognized for its balance, complexity, and traditional production methods that preserve the authentic character of Fino sherry.
