This Virtual Tour & Tasting is being organized in conjunction with TABITTO Travel Kagoshima. Kusano San, The Master Distiller and Tsuchiya San, the Distillery Manager of the Mars Distillery + Ms. Maya Aley, a Spirits Specialist living in Kagoshima for 9 years and fluent in Japanese and English, will walk you through the distillery and show the making process live. At the end of the Tour, taste 3 of their Whiskies along with the Tour Guides. This is a unique opportunity to visit the distillery from the comfort of your living room at home and enjoy a "visit" to Japan. The Virtual Tour/Tasting will be conducted on Zoom and will be co-ordinated by Mizunara x TABITTO.

It delivers fresh fruits, ginger and toffee, rich and smooth body, followed by warm spice and subtle smoky which lingers.

The Macallan 12 Year Old Gran Reserva was a special release exclusive to the Japanese and Taiwanese markets in 2007. While 90,000 bottles were released then, it has been one of the hugely popular bottlings being a rich, dark and a delicious 12 Year Old to come out of this famous Speyside distillery. Matured in first fill Oloroso Sherry oak casks this delivers deep and rich notes of sherried fruits, dark chocolate and a range of spices. An increasingly difficult bottle to find.

Please note that the label would have stains on the front and back label with some minor creases on the box. However the seal is in good condition. SOLD IN "AS IS" CONDITION.

An old bottling matured in Sherry Casks, this is a release of cask strength Macallan, produced for the US market and bottled at 59%.  Rich and smooth with fruit cake, vanilla and a hint of wood smoke. This was bottled around 2009. A rare bottle to come by.

Pale gold in color with a hint of toffee and dried fruits on the nose, this whisky is excellently sherried balanced with wood smoke. Aged for 10 years in selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Please note that the label is somewhat stained given that it is an old bottling. However the whisky level and seal are in good condition.

An old presentation (released around 2013) bottle of "The Balvenie 30 Year Old", crafted by malt master David Stewart by vatting Whisky matured in traditional and European oak casks. In our opinion this is indeed a masterpiece and showcases the skills of the malt master in creating a beautifully balanced and impressive aged whisky bottled at a higher ABV of 47.3%. Rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelized pear.

This series has been a Gold Medal winner at the 2004 IWSC and the 2013 release won a Gold Outstanding at the IWSC and Best Speyside Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2013.

Released by the family owned Glenfarclas Distillery, this Collector Series comprise, six extremely exclusive Whiskies, each representing one of six generations of the Grant Family which has continued to own the Distillery. This bottling is the first one of the series and comes in a black box adorned with a silver coin featuring the portrait of John Grant (1805-1889), who purchased the distillery on 8th June 1865. Distilled on the 23rd September 1966 and bottled on 18th December 2013 from Fino Cask #'s 4194, 4195, and 4197. A total of 1444 bottles were released. Rated 92+ on Whiskybase (by over 100 reviewers). Available only as a part of a FULL SET HERE.
