タリスカーシングルモルトスコッチウイスキー

タリスカー蒸留所は、スカイ島で最も古い現役蒸留所の一つです。スコットランドのクイリン山脈のドラマチックな景色を望む、ハーポート・カーボスト湖畔に位置しています。甘口でフルボディのシングルモルトを生産しています。

この蒸留所は1830年にヒュー・マカスキルとケネス・マカスキルによって設立されました。すべての蒸留器は、現代的なコンデンサーではなく、ウォームタブ（凝縮コイル）を使用しています。この凝縮コイルは、ウイスキーに「より豊かな」風味を与えると考えられています。初期の頃は、ウイスキーは3回蒸留方式で製造されていましたが、1928年により一般的な2回蒸留方式に変更されました。タリスカーは1925年にディスティラリー・カンパニーに買収され、現在はディアジオの傘下にあります。
