Matured in refill American oak hogsheads & ex-bourbon barrels, this Pittyvaich bottling was part of Diageo's Special Releases in 2015. Lots of nutty cereal and almond notes, with mango and lemon tart. Very moreish. Established in 1975 and closed in 1993, this Speyside distillery with a short lived history is rarely seen as a Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Distilled in 1989 and bottled at natural cask strength after being aged for 20 Years by Diageo this is a limited edition release of 6000 bottles. The now demolished distillery of Pittyvaich was built in 1975 and had a short lived history until 1993. The distillery has now been demolished.
