エルギン郊外に位置するリンクウッドは 1821 年に設立されましたが、生産を開始したのは 1824 年になってからでした。

リンクウッドのウイスキーは、フレッシュさと濃厚なテクスチャーで知られています。その香りは、非常に透明な麦汁を造り、非常に長い発酵期間を経て、銅の交換を最大限に高めるためにゆっくりと蒸留する2基の蒸留器で、蒸留液よりも蒸留液の量が多いため銅との接触がより多く、より豊かな味わいを生み出すことで実現されています。
