アランシングルモルトスコッチウイスキー

アラン島唯一の蒸留所であるこの蒸留所は、1994年にハロルド・カリー（元シーバス社取締役）によってロクランザに設立されました。この物語は、蒸留所建設中にイヌワシのつがいが蒸留所近くの崖に巣を作ったことに始まります。イヌワシは保護種であるため、蒸留所の建設は一時的に中断されました。蒸留所は1995年に正式にオープンしました。アラン蒸留所は現在、個人株主グループが所有しています。2つ目の蒸留所は2019年に島の南端にあるラッグにオープンし、ピーテッドシングルモルトの製造に特化しています。

The Batch 1 release of this Special Selection for "The Bothy" series was first matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred for a secondary maturation into smaller American Oak casks called Quarter Casks for a minimum period of 18 months.
