First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the double distilled, heavily peated style Single Malt from the Springbank Distillery. This Longrow 21 years is a limited edition, reportedly matured in 60% of sherry cask and 40% of bourbon cask, bottled in 2019 with 3600 bottles released.

Nose: A sweet yet meaty dram there are aromas of glazed cherries and cured salty meats. Stewed dark plummy notes and chewy black wine gums. Maple syrup and crispy bacon with a medicinal influence from the robust peat smoke. It seems brighter on the nose with a touch of zesty orange peel. Palate: Sweet, smoky and waxy with a twist of citrus. Caramel shortbread with marzipan, lemon zest and a dusting of icing sugar. Waxy crayons and rich dried fruits with a touch of clove spiciness. Finish: Sweet, smoky and waxy with a twist of citrus. Caramel shortbread with marzipan, lemon zest and a dusting of icing sugar. The Macallan 12 Year Old Gran Reserva was a special release exclusive to the Japanese and Taiwanese markets in 2007. While 90,000 bottles were released then, it has been one of the hugely popular bottlings being a rich, dark and a delicious 12 Year Old to come out of this famous Speyside distillery. Matured in first fill Oloroso Sherry oak casks this delivers deep and rich notes of sherried fruits, dark chocolate and a range of spices. An increasingly difficult bottle to find.

This rare & vintage Speyside single malt from the Glenfarclas Distillery has been aged for 8 years in sherry casks. This bottling, from the 1970s captures some big changes which happened at the distillery around/during that period including releasing a cask-strength bottling (it's 105˚) in 1968, halting its floor maltings in 1972, opening its doors to visitors in 1973 (one of the first distilleries to do so) and adding 2 stills in 1976.

In 1968, George S Grant decided to bottle a cask of Glenfarclas at natural strength as a christmas gift for family & friends. The strength of that single cask was 105 British Proof - and Glenfarclas 105 was born!  "Strong, rich oak with big powerful aromas reminding us of Demerara sugar, figs and Christmas cake, chocolate covered coffee beans and lots of fruit brandy flavours"

This Whisky is a 2016 release and a Taiwan Excusive Bottling (for "Hot Malt") with only 1600 bottles being released. Berry Bros & Rudd has reportedly blended a Speyside 40 Years Old Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky and Grain Whisky for this bottling. 

Berry Brothers & Rudd originally established as a fine wine merchant in the late 17th century received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. Since then BBR has been bottling single malt whisky and even bottled their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, as early as in 1923.

This 1988 Vintage 35 Years Old from the Bunnahabhain Distillery is a special bottling by Whisky Antique (Silver Seal) from a Single Cask #1024. Matured in a Sherry Cask for 35 Years and bottled at 46.5% this release of 60 bottles has a special label designed by The East Asia Whisky Company under the Manta Ray Genesis Edition.

The label captures the silhouette of a majestic Manta Ray made visible by the dark emerald and frigid pink clouds that emanate from its dotted pattern radiating in the colors of the marine environment it inhabits.

Whisky Fun Extract: Colour: mahogany. Nose: this is more old-school than the House of Lords. Not talking about the Scotch whisky. Prunes, old cognac, dates, chocolate, figs, whiffs of moss and old pine wood, a few mushrooms and a little liquorice, plus a few roasted nuts, especially pecans. Mouth: we're deeply reminded of some old Speyside malts by G&M. Like pre-war, bottled in the 1970s and 1980s. It is a time machine! More bouillons, chocolate, pipe tobacco, liquorice, truffles, puréed chestnuts, pears poached in Sauternes, very old Sauternes, very old Malaga… It is definitely very 'antique'. I would love to watch young whisky enthusiasts tasting this whisky, or similar whiskies, for the very first time. It would undoubtedly be a real revelation, as they are becoming so rare. Finish: rather long, rather sublime to tell you the truth. Comments: as I sometimes say, we could spend hours sipping a magnum of each to try, and fail to decide which one, between the Kinship and the Silver Seal, is our favourite. With dark fruits, old sherry wine, sugared plum, rich leather on the nose, this whisky is full of figs and sultana pudding, velvet dark chocolate on the palate with a hint of mellow cedar cigar boxes (Producer's Tasting Notes).
