This Bruichladdich 25 years is a very special edition originally released for the Travel Retail market. An unpeated Islay Single Malt whisky with complex maturation (executed in collaboration with winemaker Jan Pettersen) which includes Oloroso Sherry and PX (Pedro Ximinez) Sherry Casks. Finding a Bruichladdich matured in Sherry Casks is quite unusual since the new make is fairly delicate and floral and the folks at Bruichladdich are extra careful that the maturation in Sherry Casks should not overpower these distillery characteristics.

A limited release of 6000 bottles. WhiskyBase - 90+ Points (an average of over 350 votes) Whiskyfun rating of 87 points. A remarkable bottling indeed.

Bottled exclusively for Taiwan and limited to 529 sets worldwide. Matured mostly in American bourbon cask and then finished in one of four different wood types personally selected by Richard Paterson to showcase the four seasons.  Spring Edition – Finished in Madeira Wine Casks; Summer Edition – Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks; Autumn Edition – Finished in Apostles Sherry Casks; Winter Edition – Finished in Matusalem Oloroso Sherry Casks.

Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks (as we understand, for two years after five years in first fill ex-Bourbon casks), this Single Malt is a release from Paul John under their Select Cask series. Nose: Peach, apricot and light notes of caramel and blood orange Palate: Soft and sweet, with nutty chocolate and Melton Hunt fruit cake Finish: Intense and sweet with spices, some coffee mocha and dark chocolate.

Matured in a Oloroso Puncheon cask, 697 bottles were released in 2019. Color: Burnished bronze Nose: Candied apple, toffee, menthol, lemon, oak and prunes Palate: Honeyed butter, caramel, creamy vanilla custard and cedar (Bottler Tasting Notes). This is an exclusive bottling for Taiwan.

The 100% Islay 11th Edition was distilled from 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 barley (Optic & Publican) harvests before being matured in 26 bourbon barrels and 7 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 9 years. This unique Single Farm Single Malt is the only whisky in Scotland to be produced entirely on one farm, from barley to bottle. The barley was then malted onsite and peated using local Islay peat before being distilled, matured and eventually bottled all within the farm distillery’s premises. Limited to 12,000 bottles.

Awarded 95 Points at IWSC 2022 (Gold Medal Winner).

This is the 12th Edition of the 100% Islay release and distilled from 2011 - 2013 barley harvests (from the fields next to the distillery) and then matured in Bourbon Barrels and Oloroso Sherry butts for at least 8 years. This is a vatting of 29 Bourbon Barrels & 6 Oloroso Sherry Butts with 12,500 bottles being released. Nose: Elegant, sweet peat smoke, citrus and honey, vanilla and salted caramel. Palate: Green fruits, apple, pear. Light spice, raisin and toffee. Finish: Peat smoke returns and remains on the palate, oily, creamy balanced with toffee and caramelised sugar. 

The 100% Islay release is usually peated at 20 ppm with the entire production "from Barley to Bottle" taking place at the distillery on Islay itself (which is quite unique).

This Small Batch Vatting combines bourbon and oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman at 46% ABV with specially selected Shaved Toasted & Re-charred (STR) Red Wine casks, at natural cask strength. Tasting Notes: Classic Kilchoman citrus and peat smoke with layers of red fruits, cinnamon sweetness, and fresh vanilla.

Limtied to 2,520 bottles worldwide.

Kilchoman Batch Strength is a limited TOUR EDITION release that has been matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts, and bourbon barrels. This expression has been bottled at a robust 57% ABV.

Designed specifically for the discerning whisky enthusiast, this dram delivers a bold profile, with the elevated ABV serving to intensify the complex flavors while skillfully maintaining a balance of sweetness and smokiness. The result is a remarkable whisky that marries Kilchoman's signature natural peat smoke and vibrant citrus character with layers of dark fruits, rich spices, and a delightful salted caramel sweetness. Peat Level in 50 parts per million. 

Nose: Red fruits, fresh cherries, heather blossom, and intense peat smoke. Palate: Toffee, rich spices, vanilla, and lasting peat smoke. Finish: Silky viscosity with fresh crumpets, butter and honey. (Tasting note from distillery)
