A retro style Distillery Label bottling of Scapa Single Malt Whisky from Gordon & MacPhail. Scapa also often referred to the "other" Orkney distillery, had reputedly the longest fermentation period of 120 hours at one point in time. "Light and fruity with vanilla, green apple and fresh lemon. Creamy on the palate initially, with grapefruit and a touch of dark chocolate, followed by a herbal edge"
One of the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, G&M derived its name from its two founders, James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail and was originally established on 25 May 1895 as a grocery. The "Distillery Labels" are a series of bottlings that carry a distillery specific designed label licensed to G&M by the distillery itself.
