This Mugi (Barley) Shochu is made from 100% barley i.e. no kome (rice) Koji is used, rather mugi (barley) koji is used for fermentation. Kannoko, which means 'river protected by the gods' in Kagoshima dialect, named after a stream in South Kagoshima. Kannoko has a rich and mellow flavor with fragrant aroma.
