This is a special bottling released by the Shinshu Mars Distillery and is a vatting of malt from two distilleries, "Komagatake" and "Chichibu", which has been matured at Mars Shinshu Distillery in a variety of Bourbon Barrel, American White Oak and Sherry Oak for more than 5 years. In 2015, Mars Shinshu Distillery and Venture Whisky (Chichibu) Distillery began exchanging their new make spirit, which was subsequently matured in their respective locations. 10,918 Bottles were released.

Nose: sweet maple syrup, oak spices and some notes of varnish along with plum and a hint of caramelised orange peel Palate: Sweet caramel, some brandy cake, cacao and nutmeg with a hint of smoke and spiciness Finish: Gentle tannins along with some black tea on the finish. With water, more caramel and toffee notes are evident along with oak spices.

The sixth official release from Kilchoman (i.e. one of the earlier bottlings) is a vatting of three year old and four year old whisky from first fill and refill bourbon casks with the four year old finished in sherry casks for about a month. Lots of smoke, iodine, and salty notes with hints of oloroso in the background. A great bottling to taste a Kilchoman from its early days.

GlenDronach 21 years old is named Parliament after the parliament of rooks guarding the warehouse of the distillery. This whisky is a marraige of spirit matured in Pedro Ximenez casks and Oloroso Sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. A full bodied and richly sherried whisky, with notes of elegant ripe blueberries, plums, candied orange, pudding. A finish which is warm with dark chocolate treacle.

This 50 ppm Limited EDITION release has been fully matured in Fino Sherry Casks from Bodega Miguel Martin in Spain. This is a vatting of 11 fresh butts and 1 refill butt. 

Nose: fresh and floral with plenty of coastal influence. Seaside freshness gives way to tropical fruit, light citrus and malty sweetness. Palate: juicy tropical fruit and earthy peat smoke combined with spices, lemon zest and a creamy, malty sweetness. Finish: long and bold with gentle peat smoke, cashews and almonds with the dry saline influence of the fino coming forward. 10,500 bottles released worldwide with limited availability in Hong Kong. Not often you come across a fino matured whisky.

Matured exclusively in spanish oloroso sherry butts, this A'bunadh is the Batch 67 release from Aberlour. A'bunadh means "The Original" in Gaelic and is a respectful toast to the founder of Aberlour, James Fleming. Bottled at cask strength, this is an intensely rich sherried whisky. Aroma of spices, pralines, spiced oranges with a palate of black cherries, ginger and dark chocolate. The finish is long and balanced with hints of oak.

Usually a vatting of 5 - 25 year old Whiskies, the A'bunadh range is a highly awarded release from this distillery.

This single malt from Clynelish Distillery has been bottled exclusively for the friends of the classic malts in 2009. Matured in European oak cask for 12 years and bottled without any chill filtering. Whiskyfun comments .... "very good and rather more ‘freshly’ fruity than other young Clynelishes. Maybe a little less ‘old Highlands’ than usual." Whiskyfun rating 85 Points (full review here).

Labels have wear and tear without any box. Label is the old Map label. Sold in "as is" condition.

A 2008 Vintage special bottling from the GlenDronach distillery, matured for 11 years in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain and selected by Rachel Barrie for the Professional Danish Retailers. With a burnished copper hue and aroma of honey, spices, hazelnut and raisins, the palate is rich in creamy malt, toasted oak, chocolates and honeycomb with a lingering finish of nutmeg and crystallized ginger. A limited release of about 3500 bottles in 2019.

Madeira is a fortified wine available in a range of dry to sweet styles. A full Madeira cask maturation is quite rare and brings a rich fruity character balanced with the citrus and floral creaminess of the Kilchoman distillate. Distilled in May 2016, matured for over 5+ years in 46 fresh Madeira hogsheads, before being bottled at 50% ABV in August 2021.  While originally planned for release in late 2021, a bottle shortage resulted in a delayed release/shipment to Hong Kong.( Officially released in March 2022 in the UK) 

Nose: Caramel, Orange peel, Ripe plums and Rich smoke. Palate: Bright citrus zest, peach, Dark chocolate with ripe fruits. Finish: Juicy fruits, some burnt sugar with smoke.

17,000 bottles were released.

Pōkeno distillery nestled in a warm, misty, humid valley protected by the volcanic hills which from which they source their pure natural spring water and sourced the finest barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's richly fertile South Island. The distillery uses high-quality barley from three family-owned farms in New Zealand's fertile South Island. This meticulous selection process, coupled with slow fermentation, distillation, and careful maturation in first-fill casks, gives Pōkeno Whisky its distinctive character.

This Single Cask was distilled on 30 April 2019 and bottled on 10 August 2022. After a full maturation in a first fill bourbon barrel this Single Cask was finished in a PX Sherry Butt from Miguel Martin, for a period of 6 months. A limited release of 880 bottles.

Nose: Rich and inviting aromas of ripe cherries, Christmas cake, and dark chocolate. Palate: A harmonious blend of sweet citrus and vanilla, complemented by the rich sherry influences.
