Re-opened in 2004 after being closed for almost 80 years, the Glengyle distillery finally came back to the Mitchell family (owners of Springbank) in 2000. Bottled in Oct 2018, this is Batch #3 matured in Bourbon Casks. A rich smooth smoke along with vanilla/honey sweetness and a mix of nuts.

Bottled in Oct 2018, this is Batch #3 matured in Bourbon Casks. A rich smooth smokey whisky along with vanilla/honey sweetness and a mix of nuts. Nose: Oils and wax with some spices and tobacco. A lovely nose indeed Palate: Rich with a lot of spices including some cardamom, cloves and a leathery smoke with a lot of citrus notes Finish: a beautiful long finish with oils layering the mouth.
